[The Messengers, Angels, and Books of God]
وَأَوَّلُ الأَنْبِيَاءِ آدَمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ ، وَآخِرُهُمْ مُحَمَّدٌ صلى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَّلَم.
031- The first of the prophets (anbiyāʾ) is Adam and the last is Muḥammad (may the peace and blessings of God be upon them) [d. 11/632].
